Colorado Cares Day 2005 Paint-A-Thon
BROOMFIELD, Colo. (20 Aug. 2005) —Boulder Colorado Stake volunteers gathered in the cool of the morning at its church at 1250 North Main St., Broomfield, to paint houses with Brothers Redevelopment, Inc., to celebrate Colorado Cares Day.
“This is a great opportunity to work with this fine organization, while we serve our brothers and sisters and our communities,” said Pat and Gail Atkinson, co-directors of the Boulder Colorado Stake Public Affairs Council.
The Stake, a geographical subdivision of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, selected to work with BRI, a non-profit that provides safe, affordable, accessible housing and housing services for the low-income, elderly and disabled of Colorado.
